With a background in Education and over 2 decades of experience in mental health and addictions work that includes leadership, and program development in low-barrier shelters and drop-in centres throughout Western Canada, I provide realistic and grounded training in violence prevention, safety, critical incident documentation, trauma informed worker-client relationship building and de-escalation.
I am a certified violence prevention instructor who works with organizations across the political spectrum as well as religious and secular programs to create safer work environments that foster open and respectful communication.
