British Columbia Violence Prevention Curriculum (PVPC)
British Columbia Violence Prevention Curriculum (PVPC)
Available to workers and agencies in British Columbia, this curriculum is designed to be delivered to workers across the health care continuum. Nurses, care-aids, outreach teams, clerks, social workers and many others serving communities in front line roles will benefit from this training. PVPC is a requirement for many working for health authorities and allied organizations in British Columbia. It can work as an equivelency for Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and other similar courses. Non-profit organizations that choose PVPC as their staff training will be enrolled in the same curriculum as the health authorities they are partnered with. This can make collaboration between organizations more efficient and effective.
